MEET OUR SISTERS
Our Zeta Sigma chapter is compiled of all different types of sisters who are involved in all different things! We love uniting as sisters but also love what makes each one of us unique.
MEET ARIELLE:
Armonk, NY native Arielle applied to F&M on a whim. Ever since she has loved calling Lancaster home, but she has especially loved being able to call Alpha Phi home. Arielle loves exploring the city of Lancaster, hanging out with her friends, and partaking in different service opportunities.

Ever since joining Alpha Phi in January, Arielle has found it easy to take on different positions and become heavily involved (even as a new member)! For the upcoming semester, Arielle is Director of Sunshine.

"When I stepped into the room the first night of recruitment, I knew that the girls would become my best friends, that I would grow in so many ways as a result of joining this organization, and that Alpha Phi would be a place to call home. Since joining, I have been empowered, pushed to excel, and loved unconditionally. There is no other group of women I would want to experience these four years with. I am so proud to be an Alpha Phi."
MEET CHRISTINA:
Christina found her home away from home at F&M, which is just an hour from her hometown of Allentown, PA. Aside from being an Alpha Phi, Christina is also a member of the women's soccer team, a campus tour guide, and a member of the Student Athlete Leadership Council.

"Tina" loves to work out, spend time with family and friends, and explore the restaurants of Lancaster (in her very limited free time). She also has taken on many leadership roles in Alpha Phi; most recently she was Director of Chapter Programming.

When asked Why Alpha Phi, Christina said, "Alpha Phi is the reason that I stopped considering F&M my college, and started considering it my home. The girls in this sorority are the most kind, classy, hard-working, beautiful souls who have been an unwavering support system throughout my time here. Spending time with them has allowed me to grow in friendship, confidence, and love. I cherish all of our moments together, and I look forward to many more!"
MEET ALI:
In Northford, CT, Ali was born into a family with some history with Alpha Phi; two of her aunts were members at Syracuse and Villanova. However, Ali did not come into F&M dead set on being an Alpha Phi. She quickly became involved in many other aspects of the school, like playing on the women's basketball team, being apart of the Student Athlete Leadership Council, sitting on the freshman class board, and working in the athletic office.

Eventually, Ali found Alpha Phi and became interested because of her familial connection but decided to call it home because of so much more.

In the words of Ali, "Alpha Phi has surrounded me with amazing, intelligent, and empowering women that push me to be my best self every day. I constantly feel overwhelming love and support from all of my sisters in everything that I do, from my academics to my athletics. The bonds that I have created with my sisters has given me a family away from home, and I am so incredibly lucky to be an Alpha Phi.
MEET JULIA:
Julia is a rising junior from Chappaqua, New York. Outside of Alpha Phi, Julia is a member of the women's lacrosse team and plays music every Sunday on the WFNM radio station.
You may also know her as DJ Shake and Bake because she performed at Spring Arts and loves to make killer mixes on Soundcloud! She is an aspiring DJ (who promises to remember us when she's famous).

Julia loves being an Alpha Phi because, "Aphi is a group of amazing individuals that support you through your best and worst times. It is a safe place to feel vulnerable and build genuine bonds that last a lifetime. These girls are my family at F&M, and I am forever grateful for that."
MEET KAT:
Rising senior Kat is from Wilton, Connecticut. On campus Kat is a student biology tutor as well as an independent organic chemistry researcher! When she isn't busy being a super genius, Kat loves to journal, spend time outside, and hang out with her friends around Lanc.
Throughout her time at F&M, Kat has found Alpha Phi to be the place she feels her happiest and the place she feels she can be her best self.
When asked why APhi, Kat said, "When I was a freshman, I admired so many of the upperclassmen in Alpha Phi. In the recruitment room, I felt as though they genuinely wanted to get to know about me, and the process did not feel like they were just going through the motions. I aspired to be like the women in Alpha Phi and pride myself in being in this incredible organization."
These are just a few of our many amazing sisters in Alpha Phi. We are obsessed with each and every sister and love how much all of them contribute to our chapter.
